Elmira Asanova
Art jewelry
Elmira Asanova was born in 1964 and now lives in Bakhchysarai, Crimea.
The master perfectly works in the technique of filigree, creating fine jewelry, which conveys the main features of the Crimean Tatar filigree – multiple layers, purity of the connection and transparency of the details that make up the ornament of Ornek. She continues the traditions of the dynasty of Bakhchisarai masters, having inherited the ancient secrets of manufacturing from his father, the famous master, usta-bashi Aider Asanov.
Elmira improves her skills by researching old Crimean Tatar jewelry from museums and private collections. She is the only master engaged in the professional restoration of ancient Crimean Tatar jewelry.
In addition to traditional jewelry, it produces modern earrings and rings carrying elements of Crimean Tatar identity.
