Emin Taimazov
Furniture making, woodworking, drawing
Emin Taimazov was born in 1976 and now lives in Novopavlivka, Bakhchysarai Raion, Crimea.
The master’s artworks are remarkable for the richness of woodworking techniques and the elegance of their shapes and design. Emin uses both traditional decorating techniques such as carving, intarsia and wood inlay, and his own inventions, for example, carving with painting. He decorates his items with both natural materials and modern polymers.
The system of symbols “Ornek” is an integral part of creativity and a source of inspiration for the master, who decorates his artworks with ornamental compositions.
Carrying on the traditions of the old craftsmen of Crimea, Emin prefers to work with walnut wood, which he procures himself. It is quite a complicated process, which — by the time the wood is ready — takes several years.
The master is a member of the creative association “Chatyr-Dag”
