Elmaz Appazova
Felting
Elmaz Appazova was born in 1970 and now lives in Simferopol, Crimea.
The master creates felt goods, working both on historical reconstruction of ethnographic objects from museum collections and literature (such as prayer rugs) and on her own decorative panels. However, whether it is a reconstruction or an original design, she always refers to the canons of the ancient Crimean Tatar ornament.
