Niyara Memetova
Felting, drawing
Niyara Memetova was born in 1969 and now lives in Lozove, Simferopol Raion, Crimea.
The master is known for her bold pursuit when creating felt art pieces. Combining different methods and experimenting with new technologies, Niyara imitates different textures. Some of her felt items may resemble weaving, embroidery, or patchwork, without actually using these techniques.
Niyara treats felt as clay, embodying any image born in the depths of her soul. New technology for her is a source for creativity, an opportunity to develop, and the national ornament is the basis linking with tradition and her people.
The master is a member of the creative association “Chatyr-Dag”
